Abstract :
The use of a proper representation of face images has great influence on the performance and robustness of face recognition systems. In this paper, we present a face recognition system that uses the λτ space representation of face images. The proposed representation is tested using FERET face database and obtained better recognition rates as compared to Gabor representation of faces.
