Abstract
The cumulative distribution, variance and spectral density of non-skewed amplitude scintillations measured at three sites during the four summers 82-85, and combining elevations ε=5°, 7.2°, 8.9°, 31° are analysed and compared. Theoretical expressions for the low elevation condition √λL (radius 1st Fresnel zone)>L0 (outer turbulence scale) are presented. Good agreement is found. Empirical expressions for the variance as a function of f(GHz) and ε are also presented
