  • Abstract
Health care delivery in the future may focus on predicting future health needs rather than waiting for a disease to commence. Therefore, the future of health care may be in “predictive health” that emphasizes prediction as much as possible and reduces emerging problems from late diagnoses based on the predictions. Today´s researchers are pulling out data available in social networks to predict varied social, political and medical occurrences. The thematic aim of this paper is proposing a model for predicting children´s general diseases. We propose a model that can predict children´s general diseases with a percentage accuracy and semantic recall based on specially designed ontology and the social relations between people. This service would be a part of a specially designed social network which is to be used by young mothers in our country, especially from the rural areas. In the proposed model, the patient medical data are not included in respect to their privacy and sensitivity. Through the social network we are giving the opportunities to mothers to exchange their experiences through different social services in their mother tongue language and to gain some preliminary predicted diagnosis.
