  • Abstract
    In order to ensure ambulance man arrived the scene on time, remove the accident, treat the injured after the accident occurred, and achieve to the minimize loss of traffic accidents and the maximum social benefits, basing on the principles of reliability, this paper which started with emergency rescue system structure analyzed the structure of emergency rescue system on highway, from three ways: incident detection, rescue plan and equipment management. The paper which combines with the characteristics of emergency rescue system on highway, discussed the system reliability based on the travel time, and then established a mathematical model of the travel time reliability, at last show a model example for the travel time reliability model.
