Abstract
This paper deals with a input-output approach to stability analysis of Mamdani fuzzy control systems. This approach is made in the dissipativity (passivity) framework and proves that from input-output point of view the PD-like fuzzy controller is passive and therefore is suitable to stabilize a large class of plants
