  • Abstract
    We demonstrated a 40 Gb/s NRZ-OOK MMF link with a span of 300 m using a single mode center launch into a laser optimized MMF. The link was tolerant to practical launch misalignments. The experimentally measured frequency response of the MMF did not restrict the photodiode bandwidth. A polarization dependent power penalty of ~1 dB was observed.
