Abstract :
In the last two decades scientific research in the area of wavelet transformation developed very intensively. This area changes its "mainly theoretical" nature and become more and more applicable for practice. Today wavelet transformation is considered not only as an interesting mathematical instrument, but as a typical engineering one. Modern mathematical software such as matlab, matcad, mathematica and so on has wavelet tool as an essential part. Various families of wavelets are widely used for image and signal processing, for signals denoising, for information compression etc. But the list of wavelet applications is not closed. Due to its specific properties wavelets get new applications and bring the new possibilities to scientists and engineers. The aim of this paper is to show the possibility and efficiency of wavelet based approach for electrical load graphs analysis.
