  • Abstract
    In this paper, a mathematical model accounted for heat transfer and cure react kinetic is established which is suitable for the pultrusion process, and the equation is analyzed through numerical method. A computer simulation program based on finite element package IFEPG and FORTRAN has been developed to predict the distribution of temperature and degree of cure of composites in pultrusion die. The prediction values are compared with the values calculated by PulModel. It is found that the predicted values are in good agreement with PulModel.
