Abstract
An adaptive line equalizer for an ISDN two-wire interface is described, which provides data transmission using the time-division multiplexing technique and an AMI line code at a line bit rate of 384 kb/s via a variety of twisted pair cable types including extremely capacitive cables with up to 32 dB insertion loss at the Nyquist frequency.
