Abstract
In order to solve the map matching problem in traffic information collection based on wireless positioning, a integrated map matching algorithm based on fuzzy theory was proposed, it identified the road on which the phone-in-moving-vehicle was moving by comparing the similarity degree between its trajectory curve and all the candidate roads, which included three features with look-ahead to improve the accuracy, then fuzzy preference relations were adopted to the multi-criteria decision. The results obtained through this approach are promising.
