Abstract :
This paper investigates the effect of line termination which is matched to the characteristic impedance of the channel, under multiple input multiple output modeling of the wireline communication channel. This model is based o multi-conductor transmission line theory and electromagnetic theory. Using this model, frequency dependant line parameters are used and frequency dependant transfer function is derived. If the transmission line is terminated correctly, significant improvement in the transfer function and capacity of the transmission line can be observed.
