Abstract :
The problem of digital watermarking for media authentication has attracted a considerable amount of attention in the last several years. Most previous works have mainly concentrated on authenticating a single medium, such as visual, audio or text medium. We discuss the multimedia authentication problem. That is, we study the problem of efficient data hiding for media authentication when at least two forms of media are presented in a digital data stream. In particular, we address the problem of multimedia data hiding for authentication purposes. A multilayer data hiding structure is presented. In addition, its implementation for our active data hiding application is discussed in detail
