Abstract :
The use of a Michelson interferometer configuration employing Faraday rotator mirrors is shown to significantly improve resolution and coherence for delayed self-heterodyne interferometery. A minimum resolution of 1.7 kHz is obtained and coherence is observed over 60 km.
