  • Abstract
Combinatorial explosion of test cases is one of the major challenges in software testing area. Solutions for efficiently generating input combinations to represent software interaction and generation of test suites using efficient model checking tools will address this issue to an extent. Empirical observation in software industry states that fault is likely to be triggered by few interacting variables. This paper discusses about combinatorial test design approaches and a case study is conducted on platform dump component´ using Combinatorial test design (CTD) tool.
