Abstract :
A practicum component has been developed for a required junior-level course on semiconductor materials and devices. This practicum includes a combination of computer simulations, using MATLAB and MAPLE, and hands-on experiments. In this paper, we describe the different “experiments” that the students perform to enhance their understanding of the lecture material in this course
