Abstract
In this paper, a novel CPW-fed PLPDA is proposed. The antenna exhibits a fixed phase center and good cross-polarization discrimination. And the stripline structure is employed to suppress the cross-polarization level. In order to realize a fully planar structure, a conductor-backed CPW feed is co-design with the stripline with the feed port located at the edge of the PCB antenna. The optimization on the balun offset length is performed to improve the pattern stability that the maximum gain is directed to the zenith over the wide frequency range.
