  • Abstract
    Ancillary services are essential to ensure safe operation of Power system. The hydropower station´s regulating feature gives it innate advantage to provide ancillary services. This paper firstly introduces the Ancillary services of power system, on that basis designs and develops a collecting and analyzing system of Hydroelectric Power Station Ancillary services by virtual instrument techniques, which provides a technical platform for the cost analysis of the ancillary services, and finally the system is applied to Wuxijiang power plant to analyze the cost of its ancillary services.
