Abstract :
The experimental results obtained at the Radiophysical Research Institute, Gorky are presented for the molecular absorption by atmospheric water vapour in the frequency region 175-930 GHz. The following points are aimed at the definition of H2O spectral line parameters; the high resolution determination of spectral distribution of water vapour absorption coefficient in transparency windows; and the separate determination of linear and quadratic terms of the relationship between the absorption coefficient and the air humidity
