Abstract
Mitochondrial DNA is extremely valuable in missing-person and crime scene investigations. It helps to identify unassociated ancient remains. Mtdna of mummies preserve information regarding the kinds of mutuations and the diseases tolerated by them. Mtdna testing in siblings will show if they are biologically related via the maternal line. This paper helps to develop a sofware for finding relatives, reason of death and country of mummies. Mtdna sequencing is a useful tool for human identification and for studying human diseases. Mtdna can track the ancestral information about mummies.
