Abstract :
In this paper, we present a tool for the flexible and efficient instrument control software generation using OPC (OLE for Process Control). Our tool supports a work related to the complex activities and workflows among components of an instrument. The tool can be briefly divided into two parts. One is about the generation of SCRIPT that describes and controls the activities of instruments based on the OPC and XML technology. The other is about the simulation and real-time action of the generated SCRIPT. We have designed the structure of the tool in order to support the integration and cooperation with the legacy system.
