Abstract :
A new Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) detection algorithm has been implemented and it is presented in this work. The algorithm treats the radiometric signal´s spectrogram (time-frequency representation) as an image, and applies image processing techniques such as 2D wavelet filtering to detect the presence of RFI. Several experimental measurements are presented to evaluate the performance of this algorithm.
