Abstract :
A comparison is made between scalar methods and the cascaded cylinder model. Experimental verification for these analytical techniques is obtained by comparison with data collected during field work in East Anglia. The difficulty of constructing an equivalent set of canonical scatterers from real terrain data is also addressed
