Abstract :
With practical data of oilfields, two kinds of the latest reservoir prediction and description techniques, including stochastic simulation and stochastic seismic inversion, are mainly introduced in this paper. They are favorable for the meticulous depiction and prediction of reservoirs in the oilfield, and beneficial to the further hydrocarbon exploration and development in the study area.
