Abstract :
Electromagnetic launch is a new technology which is used in aircraft carrier to replace traditional steam launch, designing a high-power linear motor is the key point of this technology. After analyzing the structure and framework of various linear motors, the design scheme which adopting dynamic permanent magnet AC synchronous linear motor with three-dimensional matrix bilateral structure had been presented. The scheme adopts modular structure design for the stator, which not only can simplify the researching objects, but also can improve the system interchangeability and reliability. According to electromagnetic field theory and finite element method, ampere-turn, groove height, groove depth, air gap, width and thickness of the permanent magnet influencing on thrust and its´ fluctuation had been analyzed, and a set of optimally parameters for motor design had been confirmed. Finally, by analyzing the obtained parameters, a feasible proposal for electromagnetic launch had been educed.
