Abstract
Network reconfiguration is a constrained, nonlinear, integer optimization problem. This paper presents a decentralized methodology that is capable of incorporating network reconfiguration algorithms to minimize power losses for smart distribution systems. The “optimal” configuration of the entire system results from collaborations of individual agents, and the computational time is greatly reduced compared with conventional approaches.
