The 2013 Diagnostics Achievement Award & SDEMPED Paper Awards

The 2013 diagnostics achievement award was given to Prof. Fiorenzo Filippetti with the University of Bologna, Italy. The SDEMPED 2013 Paper Awards were given to the following three papers: (1) "Detection of Stator Slot Magnetic Wedge Failures for Induction Motors without Disassembly" by: Kun Wang Lee, Kun Wang Lee, Jongman Hong, Doosoo Hyun, Sang Bin Lee, Ernesto Wiedenbrug, Mike Teska and Chaewoong Lim. (2) "Full Detection of High-Resistance Connections in Multiphase Induction Machines" by: Luca Zarri, Michele Mengoni, Angelo Tani, Yasser Gritli, Giovanni Serra, Fiorenzo Filippetti, and Domenico Casadei. (3) "Improvements on Lifespan Modeling of the Insulation of Low Voltage Machines with Response Surface and Analysis of Variance" by Antoine Picot, David Malec and Pascal Maussion.
