Abstract :
For single-level bounding box for collision detection in real-time and accuracy deficiencies, this paper combined the advantages and disadvantages of the various levels of bounding boxes, proposed a hybrid algorithm for the outer bounding box with a poor but close characteristics of simple intersection test can quickly rule out the possible collision of the object far away. Only those objects that intersect the outer bounding box only further the intersection between the inner bounding box test. Experimental results show that the proposed mixed-level bounding box collision detection algorithm is faster, achieve better real-time and accuracy.
