Abstract
A switched quarter-wave oscillators is one type of mesoband high-power microwave source that represents a important class of emerging high power electromagnetic (HPEM) environments. In this paper, the authors developed a numerical tool that generates the shapes of the inner core surface and outer vessel of an SWO system. The generated geometry satisfied the static requirements for the self-breakdown switch operation in addition to the geometric constraint that define the resonance parameters of the system.
