Abstract :
We present here experimental results which show that it is possible to use a bandpass in fibre Bragg grating filter in the transmission line to give reduction in Gordon-Haus jitter build up in place of a standard bulk device. The advantages of such devices are their low polarisation dependent loss, their in-fibre nature and their low insertion loss. They are also fully compatible with sliding guiding filtering and WDM systems applications
