Abstract
The parameters of the electromagnetic signal induced by the acoustic excitation in the electrified samples of the large-crystal, small-crystal marble and stalactite had been studied. It had been demonstrated that injection of the positive charge onto the calcite sample surfaces resulted in their polarization. In this case, the density of the surface charge was higher, the smaller the dimension of the calcite elements. The relaxation time of the surface charge had demonstrated the similar character of the dependence, at the same time the parameters of the electromagnetic signals emitted by the acoustically excited samples had demonstrated the reverse one. Studies of the calcite samples had revealed the inter-relation between the dimensions of the structure elements, the polarization and the parameters of the electromagnetic signals.
