Abstract :
This paper analyses the electricity generation in different time intervals of the east, west, south oriented PV power plants with storage system to cover a specified load curve. A simulation and evaluation of the electricity generation for the network connected PV power plants is done. The PV plant is composed of east, west, and south oriented modules. The article offers a flexible approach to design PV plants with storage systems to smooth out the fluctuations of generated electricity. The novelty of this approach is that it suggests PV power plants to be composed of south, west and east oriented modules in order to cover a given load curve. Thus the fluctuations from the generated electricity are smoothened out and the PV power plants become more predictable for management. This is a precondition for a planned coverage of the load curves and for increasing the life cycle of the storage system used. The energy storages used are reloaded only by PV power plants, without using any extra energy from the electricity grid.
