Abstract :
Traffic congestion occurs in large and medium-sized cities of China and affects development of the country badly. But we know it can be avoided or lightened, if we can reliably estimate traffic congestion which will occur in a few minutes or occurred already a few minutes ago, and take prompt, effective traffic management measures in time. Traffic condition will be better. Therefore, in this paper we provide a predict method for traffic condition of road intersections. The key parameter model of the method is the "dispersion formula", and the data Calculated are all from the real-time traffic data. To verify the effectiveness, we have done a lot of experimental, and the results show that the error is smaller. We compared it with the other previous method, and found it is more simple and practical.
