Abstract
This paper presents a system method to analyze and optimize the parameters for vibration system of automobile seats in order to improve the dynamic comfort of seats. The human body and car seat system are described by a three degree-of-freedom dynamic model and the corresponding vibration equations are established. The amplitude-frequency characteristic curves of this dynamic model and the relationship curves which describe the impact of damping coefficient and natural frequency for amplitude-frequency characteristics are introduced based on simulation analysis. The relationships between the power spectral density function of vibration response and the spectral function of road are constructed so the impact of the vibration system parameters for vibration response is analyzed. According to the evaluation standard of automobile smooth-going characteristic, the dynamic parameters of car seats are optimized by minimizing the root mean square of vibration response of seats.
