  • Abstract
Impedance-based models are commonly used to perform the system-level stability analysis of distributed power systems. In this paper, a new identification method of the impedance of three-phase balanced AC voltage sources is proposed. This method is based on the analysis of the voltage source transient response, which is obtained by performing simple passive-load step tests, and the use of well established and easily usable identification algorithms. The performance of the proposal is validated through both simulation and experimental results obtained on voltage sources for aircraft applications.
