Abstract :
Identification determines the identity class of an object. Usually, this depends on object attributes measured together with object location by sensor systems. However, the uncertainty coming from the proceeding tracking and correlation process are normally ignored and lead to identification with questionable reliabilities. Here, tracking uncertainties are used to improve identity estimation and its reliability. This can be used to optimize the management of available identity sources.
