Abstract
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measurements are typically performed in anechoic rooms. However, the use of mode stirred chambers presents an alternative approach to such test facilities. This paper presents an investigation of the influence of exciting wires´ phase shift on field distribution in an alternative mode stirred chamber. The TLM numerical simulations also demonstrate the applicability of this method to generate fields below the lowest resonance frequency in the chamber
