Abstract :
A quasi-static solution, expressed as a series of Bessel functions, is obtained for the electric potential around an open-circuit via on a power-ground plane pair. Neglecting conduction currents electric and magnetic fields are then derived. The results are validated by comparison with numerical field simulations
