Abstract :
This paper presents a case study result of the channel error tolerance and calibration for the APAA(Active Phased Array Antenna). Implemented APAA has 500 array elements and a distributed beam steering controller. We tried to set up an error tolerance for each array element. This study used the LUT(Look Up Table) calibration method to calibrate the array element channel errors. Near-field measurement result shows that the error tolerance value is valid and the LUT calibration method has an effect to the APAA.
