Abstract
In this paper, the correlation between surface transfer impedance and magnetic coupling attenuation of a single shielded power cable in line injection measurements is derived and discussed. Furthermore, magnetic coupling attenuation is calculated, taking into account the influence of cable connectors. Finally, based on the results of this paper, a simple substitution approach by means of line injection measurements to determine the properties of shielded power cable connectors in the RF range is presented.
