Abstract :
Reverse engineering is briefly examined within the context of neural network research. Some historical experiments in reverse engineering are reviewed. The multiple adaptive matched filter (MAMF) scheme is briefly outlined, the feature space view of MAMFs is presented, the Eliashberg-Chomsky orders for intelligent machines are shown, and a color vision example of reverse engineering is given
