Abstract :
In this paper, the triode structure using traditional driving method, the gate is used to pull out the electrons from the emitters, and the anode with high voltage is used to increase the electrons energy to excite the phosphors. There are two drawbacks of this driving scheme. Firstly, the electrons beam is broadened due to the side force from the gate electrode, and the broadened beam will reduce the resolution. Secondly, the anode voltage couldn´t be too high and the light efficiency will be low because of the low work function of the CNTs. So here we proposed a new driving method to solve these problems.
