Modern radar systems in Ukraine

This paper presents some scientific directions and new products in the field of radar made in modern Ukraine. Radar theory and technology in Ukraine is developed by efforts of experts from universities, academy of sciences, specialized research institutions, and industry. Activities of different radar groups in different regions of Ukraine are discussed. Radar systems that are produced by enterprises in Kiev, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya and other cities are described. New UWB methods and devices for ground penetrating and through-the-wall surveillance are presented and analyzed. It is shown that radar field still is quite seriously developed in Ukraine.
