Abstract
Digital control problems for symmetric continuous-time plants are considered. A class of samplers and holds are obtained, which implies the following: (i) The sampled-data H2-optimal controller for a symmetric continuous-time generalized plant is symmetric. (ii) The set of sampled-data H∞ controllers for a symmetric continuous-time generalized plant, unless empty, includes symmetric ones
