Abstract :
With increase involvement of multi-technologies, such as new/renewable energy sources, energy storages, microgrid and distributed energy systems, combined heating and power(CHP) systems have been brought more new features. And incurred complex energy management strategies or optimal algorithms for multi energy sources system are required.This study was to develop a optimal energy management algorithm for operating a targeted system that consists of a CHP with hybrid energy storage (CHP-HES). By applying a dynamic programming to the system, its energy efficiencies were improved dramatically with excellent dynamic performance during the test.
