Abstract :
In our work we extend a new approach presented in towards solution of the Fredholm type integral equations of the second kind. The so-called circular or periodic harmonic wavelets were used as the basis functions in the collocation method. The efficiency of our approach, which is connected to the choice of the basis functions, is presented on the testing examples and compared with other methods. It is proved that circular harmonic wavelets satisfy the axioms of the multiresolution analysis.
