  • Abstract
    A method for the evaluation of the Born series in 2-D scattering problems is developed. The method approximates 2-D Fourier transform by 1-D transforms in the source-type integral equation and, upon that, derives a closed-form relation that, efficiently, computes the scattered field. Examples of 2-D forward scattering problems are provided to demonstrate and validate the performance of the proposed method.
