Abstract :
Quasi-continuous wave (quasi-CW) has been a great concern for taking both advantages of continuous wave and pulse signal. First, the mathematical model and ambiguity functions of binary phase-coded quasi-continuous wave signal are discussed; and the echo eclipse problem existing in the kind of radar system is also proposed. Then a new waveform for the echo eclipse problem is designed based on the performance of MAC sequence. Finally, a set of data and its ambiguity function are simulated to indicate that the radar signal has excellent velocity/Doppler resolution with a longer detection distance.
