Abstract :
This paper presents a simulator of SIMO (single input and multiple output) linear array (SIMO-LA) InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) echoes for airport scenes. SIMO-LA InSAR echoes for airport scenes are modeled and divided into two parts: the aircarft scattering and the background scattering. The approximation of monostatic and bistatic radar is adopted in the simulation of the aircraft scattering and the correlation between different antennas is considered in the simulation of the background scattering. The multipath scattering and the shadowing between the aircraft and the background are taken into account. Numerical simulation results demonstrate the validity and high quality of SIMO-LA InSAR echoes simulation technique.
