Multiple Methods to Test Usability

This paper is mainly talking about the basic method about the usability tests on the web page and the auxiliary methods to assist the usability tests which could contribute to revise the vague result. Nowadays, Internet is one of the most common entertainments and tools in our daily life. The time that we spend on looking through web pages is focused on very often by researchers, since everyone wants to gain much more interesting information with less time and more convenient ways. As a result, more and more scholars begin to test the usability on web pages. The web designers, according to the reading behaviors of viewers, modify the style of web page in a comfortable form for viewers to gather information and arrange all the elements on the web page. However, many experiments cannot solve some vague results, for instance, the eye-tracking machines cannot distinguish whether this fixation is to reflect interest or confusion. In this paper, some potential methods may help us solve this problem.
