Abstract :
Virtual maintenance training (VMT) is facing to equipment maintenance personnel, and focusing on the equipment dismantling demonstration and interactive training. The disassembly and assembly relation (DAR) data design is the core issues in 3D VMT system. To meet the needs of the freedom to customize training equipment and to load different type of 3D models, a general data format for DAR was designed, which was write into a separate data file. The data processing method also was designed and realized. The application results show that this could be used to customize training application for various equipments easily, and had been embedded into the 3D VMT system successfully.
